Our Story
Two Paperdolls was founded in fall 2000, by Vanessa Kreckel and her childhood best friend, Suzanne Cogan Gallagher. Not satisfied with invitations and stationeries they came across while planning their own weddings, the two designed and produced their own handmade invitations… Soon, family members and friends were asking for the duo’s creative invites and before long, the pair was working nights and weekends to keep up with the demands of their growing business.
In spring of 2003, Vanessa left her job as a graphic designer at the University of Pennsylvania and opened a small studio in Wayne, Pa. It wasn’t long before the young company outgrew that space and made the leap across Louella Court to the three-story storefront where you can find the dolls today.
